High Pitched Whine in 2nd gear

My car started making a high pitched whine sound in 2nd gear last night. The car has been having difficulty getting into 3rd. Is my clutch gone, transmission, or do i just need to replace the tranny fluid? HELP!

start with a trans flush the whining sound could be worn out bearings that are on the inside of the trans.

I have the same thing. You dont really know until it breaks.
