325is lsd in 325i?

I have a 1990 325i 4 door, is it possible to swap the lsd rear out of an "is" into it? If so how hard is it, cost?

Sure is. There are a lot of options that will work so you can pick a gear ratio you want. Stock is 3.73. They aren't too bad, 200-300 depending on condition/miles at most. Not too hard to swap, a friend is helpful.

i did it last summer. not too hard but the thing is heavy as a mofo. use a jack to support it as you bolt it in. dont strip the hex bolts in the half shafts. take your time. cake job.
