Where to add coolant?

    Where to add coolant?

    I've drained the coolant in my car and got a new radiator, where do I add coolant into the rad, how much coolant should i add? It's a 90 325i 5 speed.

    Put it in the reservoir.

      2 gallons. Don't forget to bleed it.

        Make sure you don't add just straight coolant. You want a 50/50 mix or so of water to coolant. That is, unless you are in REALLY cold temps, in which case you want more coolant.

          you need to put it in through the vacuum lines.
