    Not running.

If I do finally start it and it seems fine, every time the car cools down, like over night, it wont start again.

Any ideas/suggestions guys? I already changed the 2 sensors that share the injectors wire group, I think its the coolant temp and the blue one next to it. Ive tried a different icv also and check the fuel injector wire harness.

One final question, Do stock injectors need a re-learning period form the DME?

Thanks in advance guys, this is my family car and need to get it running as soon as possible.

Any adaptation would be cleared when you reset the DME.

I'd look for loose connections/vacuum leaks. Also, I'd probably shove in the injectors that you took out in the first place. After all, they *did* work until you had an attack of the stupids and put the wrong injectors in.

Mention what's new or in good condition on your car so maybe people can cross them off the list of possibilities. Like I know your cap/rotor and CPS are fairly new right?

I had this problem for the longest except it wasn't that hard to start my car(sometimes). It turned out my TPS wasn't adjusted(or clicking with the turn of the throttle/butterfly), so I fixed that then all was well. Later I started fumbling and backfiring, but that turned out to be a worn can and rotor.

it hapened to me once, you might have flooded the sparkplugs, my car ran perfect when I erove it to work and 3 hours later wouldnt start, I could smell gas and checked different things , but when I took out a spark plug it was all wet with gas, I took all plugs out and cranked the engine a few moments and put the plugs back and it's been running perfectly again, well I guess till next flooding .
              Hope this helped
              Good luck

ok guys MTechnikII was right the engine is flooding, I pulled the plugs and they were fouled, cleaned them up and it fired right up but then it died. I pulled the plugs again and they were fouled again. Whats my next move?

Do you have access to a known good DME?
My brother went through something very similar to what your describing..

unplug the o2 sensor if you haven't.. check the wiring for the o2 sensor. my camaro (very different car i know but similar problem) had the rear o2 wires rubbing together even though i had them turned off it caused the car to run like total shit and kept fouling plugs.

are you sure your injectors are pulsing properly? If you can foul plugs within a few seconds thats usually a shit ton of fuel.
