e30 86 eta vacuum seal issue?

here's a video of what my car does after idling for a little while.
it doesn't effect anything when driving but when you don't have your foot on the gas it idles very strangely.
i'm thinking there's a leak in the vacuum system somewhere?
no idea but here's a video of it running in my driveway.
maybe someone has delt with this with there e30 before or could suggest some problems.
very open to any advice thanks r3v.

here's the link couldn't figure out how to imbed it -_-

    False Air.

Ok, this seems a common problem on this site. The engine management system on a E30 uses a Mass Air Flow (AFM) sensor. The AFM measures the amount of air the flows into the motor and the DME (or ECM) injects the right amount of fuel for the amount of air that enters the motor. BUT if there is a leak (hole) in the intake tract after the AFM the DME does not account for the extra air. This sends the RPMs higher like you opened the throttle. But the DME knows the throttle is closed because the TPS (Throttle Position Switch) is closed. RPMs rise... DME says "WTF" and cuts the injectors. RPMs fall and the DME turns the injectors back on to keep the engine from dieing. And so on. Most likely you have a false air leak (Vacuum leak). But I'm just a newbie.

Sorry about that. Forgot to really help you. Try some Carb Clean around your intake elbow, if the RPMs smooth out you have a vacuum around where you sprayed the Carb Clean.
