    cant find this anwser??

    i have a 1988 bmw 325i convertible with the m20b25

i wanna put a eta bottem in the car with the 2.5 head and ive found every anwser ive needed over the last 2 days but this.

    1. do i use the 2.7 or 2.5 head gasket?

    2. are there gonna be any coolant/oil passage issues that need to be addressed?

    1. Using the 325i gasket is fine, that's what I would do.

    2. No issues.

Just look at the "budget stroker" threads where folks are putting the M20B25 head, intake, etc., on an M20B27 bottom end.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
