    Valves or Timing belt First

I'm doing my timing belt and valves this weekend. Which should I do first? Does it matter? There's no indication that my timing belt will break soon, I'm just trying to be pro-active and get some experience.

just don't do the valves if the timing belt if off. id do the belt first. then finish up the day with the valves. should take you a good 8 hours to do both.
    Much wow

Pull the timing belt, pull the cam sprocket, do the cam seal (and housing o ring) then the water pump/belt/tensioner, then adjust the valves.

      Just like Cabby said.

It doesn't matter in the slightest which you do first. But when you replace the belt, do as SeteroInstaller1 says (and replace the thermostat too).
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
