89 325ix Miss fire loss of power and check engine light

Lately my cars been developing running issues. While under load just croozing at high way speed (3k-4k) i'll have a sudden loss of power followed by a cel. this will happen for some time till eventually it goes away and the cel goes out. the loss of power dose not feel like a misfire although it dose misfire every time it rains and will not stop until its dry outside(related i dont know). The feeling is much more like the car wants to stall but i am able to maintain enough rpms to keep it alive.

    i have new:
    plugs
    wires
    cap/rotor
    air filter
    fuel filter
    replaced with a used cps

the car dose have idle issues which i believe is my cts which i have not replaced could this be causing my issue?

thanks for any help guys i really wanna get this thing running right its totally talking the enjoyment outta owning this car.

with the car running and wet, spray WD40 on different electrical parts till you narrow it down.

one of my friends had the same problem with his 325i, it turned out to be the crankshaft bolt, it would come loose and thegear wheel would woble, and it would send wrong info to the sensor next to it, he had to get a new bolt to tightrn the wheel and new key for the crankshaft gear, it was worn out and would make the whole setup move and woble.
check it out see if it's tight and in its place.
          Hope this was helpful

PS: This is only on 325i cars the eta or 325e cars have different setup

Check to make sure the firing order on your plug wires is correct, I had a car with cylinder 4 and 5 (something like that) swapped, and it would run okay, but randomly die while driving.

thanks for the ideas guys i just brought the car up to moonlight and they figured that my 02 sensor was bad. replacing it made my running ussues stop for the moment although now i run a check engine light. it seem to run fine but now i cannot use the 5 petal code shower to find out what code im running.
