    Oil Leak?

I just bought another e30. runs great. 170,000 and its going good. i bought it knowing it had a leak. but I wasnt sure on what to think of it. Its leaking from where id say the front of the motor, where the distributer is? Is that possible? Also Ill look into it more tomorrow to find its exact leak point, but I wanted to see if there should be anything to check for, or if the distributers can leak

    Thanks!

The cam seal (basically behind the distributor) is known to leak. Not a catastrophic problem.

cam seal requires timing belt removal, rocker end shaft plugs require only valve cover removal.
