    Buck! Buck! ...Fuel Issue?

Hey everyone, name is Mike aka Mehow from South Jersey Area. Recently picked up a decently clean 90' Black on Black 325is 5spd. The car is almost perfect aside from one issue thats on the list. Once in a while anymore than half throtle the car bucks once and the MPG guage stops working then a SECOND Buck (Both Violent bucks) and it starts working again... They are very inconsisten and the time apart from eachother varys. Sometimes ill be driving around about a half hour fine with the MPG guage not working. Once in a while it'll throw a code of 1444 which is nothing. Thats the issue and wanted some input. I want to start with the fuel pump relay work my way to the Fuel pump and eventually the Computer.

Looking forward to the E30 community, help resolving this issue will be greatly appreciated. Thanks eveyone!

check the pressure at the rail.
    things this could be:
    fuel pump relay
    fuel pump
    clogged filter/line.
    Much wow

I pulled out the fuel pump relay and it has hot spots on 4 of 4 prongs... is this normal and also did they come factory with Bosch relays or is this aftermarket junk?
