89 325i with 114500 miles. The car has been running great until today. Started her up and drove away and within 5 blocks the check engine light came on and the car started running sluggish and would and could not go any faster than 10 mph. It seems to be intermittent at this time . Any ideas would be appreciated. thanks in advance. Tom;) 201-240-6071

vacuum leak -
a few places to check and maybe a few parts to replace
1- fuelpump relay,
2-fuel pump itself,
3-sparkplug wires
4- crank position sensor
5 the crank position sensor gear wheel check for loose bolts or any movment , the gears have to be right in front of the sensor,
6- maybe AFM
also make sure the feul filter is clean.
