    85 M20B27 into 86 Chassis

Working on another E30 and want to just keep the ETA. 85 ETA into an 86 chassis... drop in and go? Or swap the engine harness? Or something else?

Should be a plug and play item.

You'll need to swap the harness. The 85 has the old style rectangle plug and the 86 has the newer round plug.

Otherwise everything is the same and interchangeable.

This is what I was thinking. Swap the engine harness and then enjoy. That is correct?

Of course. Eta and enjoy go hand in hand. :)

            Very excited.

Dakar m3/4/5 and 86 325eS seem like a good combo.
