I have a friend that owns a machine shop so I get pretty good rates. I want to say $40. You will also need to figure out the big bolt/washer that goes on the crank snout. I just took the big washer off the M20 setup and had him lathe it down to where it worked on the M52 crank.'87 325ic, powered by S50.Comment

I'm having trouble picturing this, why wouldn't the washer from the M20 work on the M52 crank? Too thick or diameter too large?I have a friend that owns a machine shop so I get pretty good rates. Were you able to use the M20 crank bolt without modification?'89 BMW 325is Zinnoberrot / '88 VW Jetta GLI 16v Tornado Red / '89 VW Jetta GLI 16v Tornado Red / '89 VW GTI 16v Bright Blue Metallic / '91 BMW 325i Black / '91 BMW 325i Sport Black / '92 VW GTI 16v Black / '92 VW GTI 16v Montana Green / '01 Audi A4 Avant TQM Silver Metallic / '01 VW Jetta GLX VR6 BlackComment

i have a question off subject, i wanna upgrade my injector in my 1988 325i convertible, i seen that u have mustang injectors, did those plug right up without mod? and what kind of mustang, and how much of a difference is it?Comment

Injectors were bought and installed by a previous owner. I know they're 19lb Mustang injectors and they were bought fully rebuilt off ebay. They plug right in with no modification.
I don't know what kind of Mustang. They won't make a difference unless you have a decently modified motor. Stock "i" injectors are 14.5 lbs I believe. 19lbs is probably a little overkill for this motor as it sits now. 17lb might be the better option. I couldn't tell how this motor pulls, however, because of the rod knock.'89 BMW 325is Zinnoberrot / '88 VW Jetta GLI 16v Tornado Red / '89 VW Jetta GLI 16v Tornado Red / '89 VW GTI 16v Bright Blue Metallic / '91 BMW 325i Black / '91 BMW 325i Sport Black / '92 VW GTI 16v Black / '92 VW GTI 16v Montana Green / '01 Audi A4 Avant TQM Silver Metallic / '01 VW Jetta GLX VR6 BlackComment

the washer is too thick, you have to thin it down in order for the bolts threads to engage into the M52 crank snout.
My injectors were 19#er's from a late 90's model GT I think. If you install these, do yourself a favor and run the big 6 M30 afm as well. Otherwise you could potentially have idling issues.'87 325ic, powered by S50.Comment

Not entirely true if your emissions equipment is up to par, then the DME should catch the change in AFR and back the injectors off some. The problem is the stock M20 injectors will lean out in the upper rpm range. Most of the bosch style injectors will work, you just need to research them to see if they ar high or low impedance.Comment
