major help needed for m20 swap

First of i have an 84' 318i that I'm swapping my 87' 325i vert motor into. I have already pulled the m10 and tranny. I have been starting to connect the engine harness. I have just noticed that the m10 had the ignition connector that mounts to the firewall that is rectangular in shape. However, the m20 has the c101 (circular, male/female, or pinned connector)? I cant seem to find out how to connect the 87's 325i's engine harness to the 84's main harness.
I have been searching for a while now, and have not seen the answer to my question.
Someone please help! I have to have this car done soon!

I have done conversions before ( chevy motors into toyota pickups ) and I used the complete chevy harness and brain. The only difficulty is using the toyota instrument cluster. I would think you should install the complete 325i harness into your 318i along with the motor. I'm sure theres another way to do it but this seems like the most simple solution.

search the engine plug wiring diagrams. I've done a similar swap and all the info is on r3v.. I don't have it off the top of my hand though

okay, like billybobjoseph said, i looked at my old harness for the inside of the car... its done, there are cut wires everywhere...
However, Julien, Would it be hard to take the female end of the engine plug, and splice/ solder the wires from the 318i to the 325i female plug? How did you do it? how can this be done?

The rigt way to do this is to get the body side of the round C101 connector from a salvage yard and splice it in.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
