For those of you with oil temp and pressure gauges...

What psi does the m20 run at? I found a old VDO 5 bar (72 psi) gauge and was wondering if it is enough. I've seen other oil gauges that up to 10 bar. Also what is normal oil temp? The matching oil temp gauge reads 60-170C.

Hey can you post pics of the oil temp sender where it comes out of the block? I'm about to do mines ?

Yeah the sending unit is no prob. I was just wondering in case the m20 put out at 100 pounds.

You need to match the sending unit to the gauge. They will have an ohm range. The two need to match. E30 oil pressure will be all over the chart depending on oil weight, motor, mileage, temperature, ect. You don't need to worry about the high end as much as you do what the low end is. That's the important number. The idiot light is 7 or 7.5 PSI.
