Which is the fuel feed, and which is the return?

I'm trying to hook up new fuel lines to my M50, and I can't remember on the E30, down by the frame rail, which line is the feed, and which is the return? Is the line that comes up closest to the firewall the feed?

why dont you just see which one came from the filter and thats your supply. You can also turn the key 2 clicks and see which one spurts fuel.
