rebuilt motor. cranks but doesnt start

i cant get any power to the fuel pump. i tried alot of things
swapped fuel relay from a running car
swapped fuel pump fuse from a running car
swapped the dme relay from a running car
cps sensor from a running car.
direct power to the pump and it DOES turn on. i can hear it running
there is constant power at pin 30 and 87 or 87a one of them
checked and found no power going to the fuse #11

i dont know what else to check. im thinking the only thing left is swapping the ECU

    i have a spare 173 out of a 90 325i would that work on a 89 ix?

Check the 50 amp fusible link. It's in the trunk on the smaller of the two positive cables about a foot from the battery under the carpet.

On the smaller of the two cables it looks like a flat spot. Peel back the rubber cover to see the fuse part.
