Well I just went through the DIY and couldn't find that thread. Basically they used some stout boards, put towels on the fenders for the boards to lay across and suspended the motor from them. This way they could drop the subframe and access the oil pan. The other way to do that would be by removing the hood and using a cherry picker to hold up the motor.

I've seen that method described before. Instead I think I may have made a mistake by jacking the engine up from the AC bracket and removed the motor mount bolts. Now the motor mount bolts won't align correctly with the subframe holes. Any advice on how to get them to realign?Well I just went through the DIY and couldn't find that thread. Well the only suggestion I have on that is put all the subframe bolts and the motor mount bolts on very loosely so you can still move everything a little.Comment

Along with experience does the shop have the appropriate technology and equipment for correctly diagnosing and repairing my car’s transmission? Employees should be professional, helpful, informative, and not just simply trying to make a certain quota or cut corners to save costs at the expense of the customer. The actual pricing of the transmission repair is another important feature of the shop.Comment
