Did timing belt, now check engine light on?

So yesterday (Saturday) I did my timing belt, and now my check engine light flashes?

The belt was done right, John Parker overlooked my every move.

When he went out to test drive, it was just fine. But when I start the car up to leave, it is flashing.

After 10 miles it goes away and is fine.. yet when I get to where I am going and restart the engine it is back on. At my next stop, where I had to sit for an hour, I do a stomp test and get 1444... so no errors. That is with the check light off.

Then I start car for something to do, and it is back on.l I then kill it and do another stomp test, still a 1444

    What gives?

Are you talking about the check light between the speedometer and tach or the check engine light at the lower left of the cluster? The check light flashes when something monitored by the overhead panel is wrong. in which case one of the lights in the overhead panel will be lit.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Okay, that is why it flashes. Alright well I lost a bunch of wiper fluid, and that light is on. It was fine before today when we had to reconnect the hoses after we put the hood back on.

Alright so nevermind this thread now. Im grabbing some Kristall Klar soon anyhow
