    Need help car keeps stalling

Yesterday i replaced the cap and rotor and the thermostat. After I put everything back turn car on but it died after like 30 seconds, so after checking i noticed that the reference cable that comes from cable #6 is broken at the very base so i got new wires today but still does the same. Here a list of everything i done so far.

NKG spark plugs 3 weeks old
    Cap and Rotor
    fuel and air filters
    plug wires
    running on 93 oct

Car idles normally but dies after about 10 seconds unless i accelerate past 2000 rpms give or take. There are 2 things i was thinking could be bad the crankshaft sensor , or the new rotor it seemed weird that the metal don't go all the way down to the edge of rotor ,instead it goes halfway then there is like a conductive gel then there metal that form the edge of rotor that "touches" the distributor contacts.

You can use an ohm meter to check the rotor resistance from the top part where it get's spark from the cap to the tip. But if it's starting at all that's probably ok. What where the symptoms the car had before you did all this if there where any? Did you hook up all the spark plugs to the correct places on the new cap? Did you burp the cooling system when you changed the thermostat? Did you disconnect the cps and the reference sensor and if so, did you hook them back to the correct plugs?

      Sory i did not update

after checking just about everything with good readings cps,all temperature sensors and switches, iac, you name it ,

I started to move the wire of the cps with car on and seems like its broken internally so its working intermittently that's why i gave me good readings with ohmmeter but if you move it works and stop working so a cps its on the way from Pelican.

update opppsss just when i thought i solved the issue car did the same thing last so i was thinking maybe the CPS went bad ,one never know maybe it came bad.So i took it out put old one in and is then when i finally found out what was wrong...vacuum leak.

I must have check the lines maybe 20 times but i missed that the top line coming from the brake booster has a crack underneath barely visible but big enough to cause all this trouble went to advance bought a crankcase ventilation hose kit that is nothing but 20" of heat and oil resistant 15/32" hose for around $5.99, 6 hose clamps and just in case red high temp sealant and voila problem solved

the reason i believe it was the cps is because every time i was working with the cps i rest my other hand around the hoses opening the crack led me to think it was the cps,
