M20B25 knocking noise starts from 2500rpm

    Hello,

When accelerating, I have a knocking noise exactly like in this video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_3m_70jkINA

It starts from 2500-3000 rpm. Valves are adjusted and double checked. Is there sense go for a thicker oil, in example 10w60?

I can't access the video from work, but my suggestion is for you to have pro look at the car. A knocking noise could be from a bad bearing.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Knocking becomes noticeable when engine is warm up. When engine is cold seems that everything is ok.

I'm home and listened to the sounds in that video. If yours sounds the same I'd say that the most likely explanation would be a bad bearing. The only fix for that is a replacement engine or a rebuild. But before going there, have a pro diagnose the nosie.
