87 325is "fixed" then stopped working again

Well here is the link to the thread for my previous problem.

So I ended up replacing the crankshaft position sensor and the car started right up. I was so proud my first major repair since owning it starting in March.

I then took it out for a drive and when I was driving slowly it was fine but anything under load(over 4000 rpm or 60 MPH) the engine would start to sputter like 1 cylinder wasn't firing. On the interstate it countinued to sputter then die. Luckily I coasted off the exit and was able to get it running again while moving. So I started to head back to my house and on the interstate it died again. This time it wouldn't start. It has the exact same symptoms that plagued it before. I am very frustrated.

Any other ideas on what might be the issue this time? Did I miss a sensor that needs to be replaced?

That's wild, maybe an intermittent failure of the main relay or of the ecu itself? Does the balancer ( sensor wheel ) wobble like it's loose?

Are you sure your ignition coil isn't going bad? That's what happened to me.

it sounds like a fuel delivery problem to me. is the pump putting fuel to your regulator ? if so, what pressure ? start there
