    smoke test performed...

I did a smoke test on my m20, and I swear the throttle plate shaft on throttle body was leaking. Any thoughts? Is that common problem for 20+ year old tb?

If that was the only thing leaking, you did good !

It is possible to have a leak there and the only reasonable fix is a new throttle body. But if the leak is really small, you could ignore it.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Thanks for your input guys. I might pursue it further when I get some money freed up.
