Need some input.

so I am finally taking one of my e30's off the street and building it as a strict track only car. 90% of the time the car will be used at drift events (please i dont wanna here your input on that).

Now the only 12v e30 drift car ive seen go anywhere in the sport was dave blunts e30 his specs....
89 325is, M20 turbo- 255 whp, 280ftlbs torque
schrick turbo cam, IE adjustable cam gear
Lightened flywheel, lightened crank
Mega squirt engine management
cometic head gasket, arp head studs
makes 255whp at 10psi and 280ftpbs of torque.

Im used to driving v8 cars so my driving style is using throttle to control the angle and speed, ive driven turbo cars and its harder for me but i started to get the hang of it.

My car as it sits is a 86 325es yes m20b27 runs great ~180k seen plenty of rev limiter, 5th to 3rd drops, and 4k clutch dumps. Still runs amazing (leaky rear main is my only problem)

I bought a m20b25 out of an auto with 160k
also have a m20b27 out of a 86 325es i used to have ~200k ran solid

Here is my question's
rebuilding and freshening is a given

Option #1. Take the spare b27 crank and rods put them in the b25 block with b25 pistons and head. Basicly a high comp 2.7 stroker (how high compression? power #'s? will i need a 272 cam? header?)

Option #2 Take the b27 in the car and slap the 885 head on. Turbo kit w/stock cam
Would like to run e85 on this set up with max 20 psi (work my way up of course) and small turbo to spool quickly (T3? or even t28??)

Option #3 Swap the b25 in and call it a day
( ive seen guys run with the stock motor so i know it will do just fine)

I like the torque of the 2.7 but the rpm range is hard to drive.
i Have a 325i vert i drive daily. i love the power band and rpm range but i feel the lack of tq.

I dont wanna drop 3k in to a build. Ill break down and do a 1jz swap or v8. Id like to keep the 12v in it. I bought a e30 to be something other then a 240sx, there are other e30's out there getting in to drifting but all of them go with a 24v motor. Help me be different! dave did it with a turbo can i do it with N/A with out going with custom pistons? Or do i just turbo it.
i keep going back and fourth. I have a Megasquirt board being built so can run any set up.

#2
If I recall correctly, option one is a non starter as the pistons will hit the head.

Option 2 will work, but you will also want the M20B25 intake throttle body, AFM, engine harness, and DME. Or better yet go with a MegaSquirt.

Option 3 is a no brainer, but it won't make the power that Option 2 will.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
