Ok so valve adjustment. I adjusted mine to .010 with the engine cold, but I have heard people doing .008 on intake and .009 on exhaust side. Should I readjust my valves?

0.010" cold is fine. On a race-built head I use 0.006" on the intakes and 0.008" on the exhausts cold. That might be a bit too tight for a head with significant mileage on it.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

I do 10 cold, get it hot and if ones over 12 i might adj. but DD 10 and be done. The last post I saw someone doing 8 got a bad idle. Get the rocker to the back of each lob, 180 from lift side and adj. If there right they wont clank, hard to pick out from the other engine noises. If your on a bit of a hill you can put it in gear and bump it down the hill by useing some BODY English to get the cam & rocker in the right place, beats wearing out the starter, a friend or a wrench.
