    Car won't start

Deets: 91 318i shell with M20, Mark D chip with upgraded AFM, injectors, and fuel pump. Replaced starter with known working starter. Car will only start by push starting. Problem started 2 winters ago, but worked fine above 50 degrees. Same problem the following winter, fine in the summer. This winter, the problem reoccured but won't start anymore even though it has been hot as all get out. Not sure what the problem is. With being able to push start, I imagine the only problem could be the starter? Solutions??

Double check that you're getting power to the starter. I'd imagine that the starter is most likely toast though. Never hurts to double check though.

Check to see if ur ignition is bad. If its good try hitting the starter solinoid with a hammer hard. see if that does anything.

Whoa, don't hit the solenoid if it's turning over. Check for spark first. Does it try to start? Crank crank, stumble stumble? Or does it just turn?

Well, it was crank, crank, stumble stumble. Switched starters now nothing. No crank or anything. windows, radio, dash all work, but no crank now. Starter may be grounding out somewhere. Not sure.
