    Engine floods when warm?

I have an issue on a 87 325e, basically after the engine gets warm for awhile, it floods and cannot be started until it dries out. You can drive for 20 minutes, turn the car off, and it won't start until its cool/not flooded anymore I guess (and it has a dark smoke when trying to start which is why I think its flooded), any ideas? So far fuel pump and filter and pressure are good, spark looks to be good, injectors were recently rebuilt, will a cold start valve cause this?

Temp sensor? It fpr would be my first guess.

Think a temp sensor would cause this? I'm in chapel hill as well :)

Afm wouldn't make it run rich o2 sensor would but it would still run us just get ten miles to the gallon

No codes, AFM is a possibility, I don't think it'd be an O2 sensor since there are no codes and it's not getting horrible gas mileage, CPS hasn't been looked at either, good idea.

Matt, the red car with red kidneys, and black bumpers? That's my bro's car actually. What are you driving, I may have seen you around as well.

A leaking cold start valve, bad time-temperature switch, or leaking injects would be my first suspicions.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

This guy sounds on the money , if it only has trouble when its warm, then the cold start valve is probly working when its not supposed too.
