Changing out the bottom end in a 2.7 eta

So as some of you may know, I just bought a bunch of E30 parts. Well Ive figured out what most of the engine parts are, and Im trying to figure out my options as far as putting the parts to use. I have:
    2.7 Eta

stripped and waiting to get hot dipped

M50 cast crankshaft with a 75mm stroke with front crank seal sleeve

    S50 135mm forged connecting rods

Metric Mechanic HiFlo ST Sport Small 6 Cylinder Head

    Complete 325i intake

    325i motronic 173 DME

    325i wiring harness

I know the standard stroke of the 2.7 is 81mm, and the stock rods 130mm long, and in a 2.5, the crank stroke is 75mm with rods that are 135mm long. Any idea as far as what the previos owner was going for with the parts he aquired was he trying to go to a 2.5 from the 2.7? Is there anything I can do with the new rods and crank or should i be looking at a different route? My ultimate goal with this engine is to go the forced induction route. Thanks for any help.
