    Head off seta? Stroker help.

Picked up a seta motor today, but the head was an 885 cast with dual valve springs and new hg. Is there a way to tell the difference between an 'i' and eta cam? I'm wondering if an 'i' head was swapped onto the seta we got the motor from, or if the head was rebuilt with dual valve springs. completely stock 88 auto sedan 325e/A.

see if the cam still has the letter painted on it, near the front

    if it's a "K", its SETA, iirc

IIRC also the SETA cam still has 4 journals. If all of the journals are filled, and drilled, its an I head. Given what I can see in the pics, it has all the journals, and a date of 87 on it. you may have hit the jackpot

Also was running 153 ecu, not 154. However, intake mani was the eta crab. Only making on the cam reads '127'

those appear to be SETA pistons. Normal Eta is just a flat top
