    e30 wont start but cranks

    I have a 1991 325i with a fresh head and timing belt new distibutor cap and rotor the cranks it fires but wont start and its shooting flamesout the exhaust please get back to me as soon as posssible ive been working on this car for several months and i dont know what there is left to do.

    Hmmm. Sounds like the timing might be off or maybe you messed up the firing order, wires, etc. You sure they are all correct?

        Are u sure you hooked up the fuel lines correctly/sensors?

          Flames out of the exhaust when cranking strongly suggests a cam or ignition timing issue. Recheck the cam timing using the mark on the crank hub, not the mark on the harmonic balancer. And have a second set of eyes verify the ignition wire connections. If those are both good you might have a bad harmonic balancer.

              I don't think the CPS will do this. A problem with the CPS is almost certainly going to result in no spark (and no injector firing).
