but i have a 91 325 ix and im about to drive from new mexico to virginia with a few stops inbetween but just wanted to hear when people think it will break: if it even does. on the 2,600 mile trip through the 110 heat

Good Luck, Just watch the temps and make sure you got oil in her. I plan on doing a similar trip after my rebuild from Florida -> Washington State.

I want to do a trip from SW Florida to So Cal. If I get the crazy idea to do so and my E30 makes it with minimal problems, I am going to forever keep the car. No joke. Keep us posted!

made it to austin tx yesterday and the car is still running smooth at hell(except for the clicking engine, and the horrible alingment)
its how as hell here though, i have been driving through 110 degree temps and am laying off the airconditioning to save gas and to keep the engine cool.

but right now in texarkana at a whataburger(what what) and driving more hours to hot springs arkansas.. but starting to belive that im going to make it the all the way

and dont hate on the fact i cant spell its not my fault there is no spell check on this

That red squiggily line under breal is the spell check yo.

And it sounds like a normal m20. Nothing to worry about. Do a valve adjustment when you get to your destination.
