Can't get car started - video attached

Acquired car about a month or two back. Been slowly doing some work. Had to replace a lot of wiring... might have to invest in a new harness, and been cleaning out the bay. I can't get her to fire up and I'd like to be able for her to move under her own power. Any suggestions? Thanks, Fred.

Does the engine have spark when cranking? Are the injectors firing when cranking? What is the rail fuel pressure when cranking?
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Fuel is getting to the rail... I haven't popped off the manifold to get the injectors but... I think its getting fuel. Spark plugs are sparking, we checked that. CPS? Where would this be located? and where is it accessible from? I know on an older mistubishi we had it was under the timing belt cover...

Do you have power to Fuse 11? If no, more than likely your CPS.

Cps is a tricky thing, when mine was bad I still had fuel pressure but the fuel pump still wasn't kicking on and no spark. Had me stumped for a minute.

Thanks for the feedback guys. I haven't had time to check that fuse but I have a volt meter so we'll see. If there's no power and I have to change the cps... does anyone know where this is located?

Life saver. Thanks. Is this looking straight on to the car? and where did you find this diagram?

Okay. So update. I can't find this. lol. I have lots of pictures I took of other stuff though. Is it under something that the diagram is not showing? And its suppose to be attached down by like two bolts right?

Also, if I start the car in gear (without clutch pressed) it will roll-jump under its own power but won't start completely... still cps? Did it on accident but then experimented.

                        All help greatly appreciated!

Took this thing off b/c I wasn't sure what it was.

Was attached here. by one bolt... so i thought CPS but its not inside the engine... (located left center)

Connected to this on the the right side of engine.

Then theres this... right above the oil pan... in the crankcase? Not sure... but whatever it is its not doing anything b/c the wire wrap around the front to the right side where its cut... ?

So if neither of these are what I'm looking for... is it under something? Radiators already out soooo...

Help? Did some searches but not finding anything particularly useful. Saw some stuff about C191... would that cause the car not to start? BY THE WAY, still sounds like the video on my first post. But like I said, I can get it to jump-roll under its own power in reverse and first but can't get it fired all the way up. Whats going on?

According to the diagram the CPS would be right under... what the clutch fan?

^ Is it under the timing chain cover? That would be a pain in the ass.

The sensor you took off is the correct one. The one that mounts on that half circle bracket with one bolt. Then runs up to that connector next to the intake manifold. That's the one that needs to be replaced/checked. The term "cps" stands for crankshaft position sensor. It's commonly confused with the camshaft position sensor but the m20 doesnt have one of those.

                            Good luck
