Car is a 84 325e. Had a complete tune up including spark plugs, wires, thermostat, coolant temp sensor. Took off the ICV and cleaned it three time just to make sure it was completely clean. External fuel pump was whining so I replaced the fuel filter, in tank fuel pump, and cold start valve and pump still whines. My main problem is the car starts and drives fine the first time I start it but I let it sit for a couple hours and go to start it and it fires up but as soon as I cut the AC on and put it in drive it spudders and dies. I can cut the AC off and restart it, give it a little gas and it will idle a little low but will catch up to itself and drive fine. I will wait a couple of minutes and cut the AC back on and it wont have any further problems. I check for vaccum leaks and ended up replacing the line to the FPR and the ICV. I'm stuck on what to check next.

Forgot to mention my mpg has gone from 26-27mpg to 20-21 mpg same route and driving style. I cut the car on the second time and if I keep the skinny pedal at 2k for 5-10 seconds the car will run fine.Comment
