The cam journal on my 731 head is scored so I'm looking to get it repaired. I will be running a 325i cam. Unsurprisingly, the guy at the machine shop was having trouble getting specs for it and would need a cam to measure and then compare what shape the housings in the head are at, but does anybody have any specs for this?

stock cam journals are listed in the engine overhaul section of your repair manual, silly. -

In the Bentley book? I've looked through the entire engine chapter and there aren't any specs about anything related to the cam or the cam bearing bores on the head.Comment
