Number 6 cylinder has no spark.

I have a thread going (break up under power) about my current motor problem and this jus seems to be a new issue. When I got the car a few weeks ago I drove it for about a day and then it started to loose power under load. I did the general maintenance to it (fuel filter, plugs, wires, cap, coil, waiting on the rotor, coolant, and oil) and it still had the problem. I replaced a cracked line in the fuel pump and still continues to break up. I checked the spark today and when I pulled the number six wire there was no change in idle (the car was idling rough to begin with). I'm going to replace to rotor and check the I injectors and see if that help. Any other theories or possible options I'm open to.

Run a compression (dry and wet) and leak down tests. With new wires and plugs no change in idle when pulling #6 will be no compression on that cylinder or a dead injector
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

This doesn't have to do with spark but it might tell u if the wires bad. Is ur tach working?

I had the same problem and it was a bad injector, if you are interested I have eta injectors for 6 for 35 plus shipping or I injectors. Came out of a running car.

Is there spark on #6? If not, take resistance measurements of the distributor, especially if you bought it @ Auto Zone. I learned the hard way not to buy important shit there. New cap roasted within 5 min of use.

Found the problem, the coil had a bad connection and number six cylinders plug had been stripped out by the previous owner, a set of threads and some plug sealant and she runs like new. Feel kinda dumb though for not checking for that but bright side is I now have a bunch of new refresh parts. There's a bright side to everything.
