    sensor unplugged? bad cold idle.

Got a 325i on which I recently cracked the head. I replaced the head, thermostat ,water pump timing belt etc. Anyway once assembled it has been this way for about a month the car does not idle right when cold. It pretty much gets to about 200 rpm trying to stay alive then slowly goes up to 800 while it warms up. I'm thinking its my icv until I discovered a random plug that's not connected. Apparently the plug got broken off of something as far as i can tell because I found the end to which it connects to broken off. So I'm trying to figure out where that plug goes. It's a blue plug that looks like it connects to yhe thermostat but that one is already plugged in. The plug is grounded at the valve cover and goes it seems back behind the glove box and assume under the dash. I have pictures here.

Any help would be great been looking for hours. If you need any more pictures let me know. Thanks

I don't know what that connector would be for, but I do know that it would not be OE equipment on a 325i or 325is.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Hmm well it looks like the plug in was actually snapped off. Idk what could be installed aftermarket if not OEM that would use an original plug

Judging by where the connector is, an aftermarket temperature gage is a possibility.
