    need help asap!!!!!!!!

Im new to bmws. So bare with me. I was having trouble starting car after I bought it.it would crank for a bit before starting.I found that the fuel pump wouldn't come on when ignition was on.so I straight wired it.all was fine 2mounths later I got on it to pass a car at about 80mph.was running good.till I let off throttle and it started to run like crap.bogged down pushed peddle to floor nothing.pushed in clutch and died. So got ride to work.came back later and tried to start.cranked over and started if I hells to floor and kept rpms up but sputtered and misfired bad and smelled bad of gas and smoked white out of exhaust bad. And gas in intake man. Any answers. Thanks. 88 325 Seta

Possible faulty fuel pressure regulator... maybe dumping too much fuel.

Run the fuel system tests in the Bently manual.

FYI: the fuel pump is only supposed to run when the DME sees timing data from a rotating engine.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

              Which doesn't necessarily mean anything.
