    hard starts are developing alittle.

Okay so I swapped the engine on my girlfriends car along with a bunch of other stuff, then we took a 1,200 mile trip straight to texas. The car has been running fine but it recently started rough starting. It just takes about 4 seconds to start it then it smoothes out. It does idle between 800 and 1k but flutters alittle. Any ideas of where to start? I was thinking icv or fuel filter..

If it hasn't been changed in a while a fresh fuel filter can't hurt. You might also change the air filter. But I doubt either of those is the cause. Have a smoke test run and fix the leaks it reveals. Also run the fuel system tests in the Bentley manual and clean the ICV.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

In the morning it always starts fine. its only after it has been run for a bit.
I am going to try and fix it today.

I think It might be the fuel filter actually lol
