    Injection help please!

Ok, so i am looking to buy an 87 325is, when i went to start the engine it roughly idles around 300 rpm and you you cannot increase revs at all. Owner claims it was running fine somewhat recently. I'm thinking its the injectors not firing correctly, the fuel rail is for sure getting gas. Would it do the trick to replace the injectors before i (attempt to) drive it away? cause i can take to ones off my other project e30 if necessary. What else could be the problem and what should i do?

An intake leak or a fuel system problem comes readily to mind. More diagnostics, rather than throwing parts at the problme and hoping for a favorable outcome are indicated.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Check the lugs to see if any of them are leaning out.

If ur running lean(not getting enough fuel) in some cylinders ur plugs will look like http://www.rswarrior.com/forums/_Upl...gCondition.jpg that. It could help u determine if it is ur injectors and which ones are clogged/not opening. Check ur fuel pressure regulator also. Ur fuel pressure should be at 44psi.

If you have access to a known good i afm, change it out. I doubt the problem is the plugs.
