    Could it be the idv?

So my car is runnig like really gas rich on the morning. So much that if go at cruising speed it would jump , idk how to xplain it...Anyways this morning it starts to have an abnormal idle speed, like 1,500 rpms...Then I try to use the car and it struggle from 1k to 2k rpms.Other thing if Im stopped and listen carefully I could hear like a small backfire from the exhaust and feel it in the motor...Can it be the idle control valve?....

Did you check for intake leaks?

it COOOULD be the icv. if you havnt had bad idling problems previously tho its most likely a vacuum leak. either way I would take off the icv and clean it with some deep creep or some sensor safe cleaner and qtips if you never have. it may be dirty. When i got my car i cleaned everything with some sensor safe deep creep.

about a month ago i went to start my car and I had some crazy rpm's like that also. it turned out my intake boot had a slight tear in the bottom. so check the anything before the throttle body. your intake boot gets hot under the hood and may have ripped. mine ripped cause its chillin off the bracket i think. i need that miller maf ASAP.lol

well then clean your ICV..theres a valve in there that gets clogged with junk. it might not be freely opening and closing. i used sensor safe deep creep cleaner and qtips to free the moving parts of all the black build up inside of it. but you can not rush it when youre done, let it dry and good luck

what im thinking is you hit the icv and it was enough to wiggle that valve shut or open, im not exactly sure how it works but i know cleaning it helped me. and i got a lot of dirty stuff out of it which allowed it to move more freely

good luck. let us know what turns up
