    Fuel Leak...

I'm doing a AFM, chip, and injector swap on my 89 325i, and I've run into an issue.

I just swapped in my new injectors, and one doesn't seal onto the fuel rail. Like, not even close. I started the engine after putting it all back together and there was gas spraying out from where the injector goes in the rail. After cleaning up the mess, taking it apart and making sure everything was seated correctly and all still OK, and making sure my fire extinguisher was within reach, I tried it again. Exactly the same result.

The only thing I can think of is that the injectors don't have a slot for the little clips, but I know people on these forums have used these exact same injectors successfully... I don't know, I'm stumped. How do you attach the rail to the injectors with no slot for the clips to go in?

The injectors are these ones, (I jacked this picture from another thread here on R3V, but mine are the same ones).

The leaking injector may have a bad o-ring.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Start with the simple things. If the o-ring is okay, make sure the fuel rail fitting isn't bent.

One of the o-rings was getting stuck on a slight dent in the side of the rail fitting and squishing side-ways a little. I should have caught that... I guess that's why it still says "Noobie" under my name...

        Thanks for the help everyone!
