m20b25 sounds like a boat all the sudden

so i was driving the car this morning to work and i shifted from first to second. i let the clutch out a bit quickly and didnt think much of it, as ive done it before with no problems. all of the sudden the car is running like a boat. it sounds like a fucking tugboat.

The symptoms are as follows.
poor power delivery
rough idle
rough acceleration
smooth engine deceleration
and that fucking boat sound
idk what could have happened but maybe you can help me out.
ive about had it with this thing.

Sight unseen I'd say that the engine is misfiring. Check the plugs and wires and pull the valve cover to check for a broken rocker.
