    Putting it all back together.

    I'm in the process of putting the car back together after a timing belt swap. The two black wires that run accross the the timing belt, one is the crank sensor and the other has a circle shape fitting on the end, where does this go too?

    its a 320i auto series 2 coupe

    That's the impulse sensor. It should be fitted on the #6 plug wire.
    This explains it pretty well,

      cheers for the link, could use some more info. I'm running a set of custom leads. should i pit the sensor onto number 6 sparkplug then conect the lead to it? or is it ment to run of a different part.
