spark plug lead order/cylinder order.

doing a timing belt swap and diz cap swap. when i got her she was already pulled apart. I have made up a new set of leads but am not sure how the m20 counts the cylinders. Is number 1 at the front of the engine and 6 closest to the firewall or is it the other way around? any help would be great. thanks josh

1 is at the front and 6 is in the back. The distributor cap has the cylinder number labeled next to each lead.
