173 ecu chip and bigger injectors in CAlifornia

Since 93 octane is NLA here in CA what are the best options for chip?

I want to upgrade to 19# injectors then maybe a m30 AFM but need a setup for 91 octane so the mark d is out right?

MarkD also makes a 91 octane chip.

Yea he has an option for different injectors. I had his 19lb 91 octane m20 chip when i was running my m20 still.

There is enough "head room" in the stock configuration that you aren't going to gain any performance just from bigger injectors (or AFM) unless you have significantly increased mass flow through the engine (read cams, significant head work, significant engine work). A chip tune can fatten up the fuel map and bump timing (requiring +91 octane fuel), but the gains from that done't require larger injectors.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

So I just should just rebuild my stock injectors and stay with the conforti?

what kind of power gains could one expect from larger injectors, maf and chip with 93 octane? I have a late model 325 with the 2.7 stroker and am looking for more power.

I'm running BavAuto Chip in my 173 on my late model 325i here in California (Completely Stock). Little more peppy in 2nd and 3rd now, but nothing that I would write home about. At the price of 91, I may just go back to my stock DME as its costly to fill the tank. :(
