i appreciate all the feedback you guys gave, however if you guys think the stock airbox is dominate then it seems ill have to go get one from my dad's(if he still has it) but i got money so trying CAI wouldnt be an issue, and to be honest either one is better than the shit i have in my eta at this moment, i dont want this thread to turn out as an argument between a CAI and stock air box

My M20 engine is a high compression 10.5:1 cali piss gas ok Alpina West 2,7L full cali ok for emissions H&B grey import (1985).
the H&B 327S engine is currently running 100% stock M20b25i motronic 1.3 everything. Headers are H&B original long tube so there will be few better examples of what a high compression M20 intake only can do with everything else maxed out. This is a RWD G260 car with 3.15 Kaaz LSD +e36m guibo+ e36m Mounts +e30m fresh driveshaft+ perfect rear gear mesh setting+ new OEM clutch. Driveline is about as nice condition as obtainable for minimal driveline loss on the dyno.
I have several dynos avail to me in the bay area; I will pick the most heartbreaker.
I will also offer this independent dyno test to Castros down south, so I can dyno Stock vs KA vs Castros.
H&B 327"S" was 180hp rated in 1985- Passed Cali smog too (1985)Last edited by Wanganstyle; 11-07-2011, 12:51 PM.OBD1 M54/M52TU swap as a M50b25
