I have a heavily modified and recently rebuilt m20 engine & transmition laying around the garage from a previous car. I have a chance to pick up a water-logged 318is for cheap and im thinking about replacing the ruined m42 with the m20 i have. I also have a full ground control coilover system, the brakes, and every other concieveable component from the 325 also.
How doable is it to swap this m20 and transmition into the 318is?
There's no way i can do it myself, so if you had to guess, what kind of numbers am i looking at to get this installed. I can do the suspengion, interior, etc, so it would just be the labor costs of engine&tranny.
My ultimate goal is to get this 318is to be the reborn 325 that had been totaled.
Any advice would be very much appreciated,
