    belt or pully

sounds like a belt and it's more pronounced in the cold and damp or rain but they r all new 8 months ago. could it be a worn pully and still go away after the engine warms up? if it is a pully, can they be sanded to take the smoothness out? the belts really don't feel that loose.

You should have about 1/2" of deflection when pushing on the belt. Too loose will make a noise just like if it was too tight

Yes you can sand the pulleys a bit. Emery cloth works OK.

Also, spray some water on the belts while its running and see if the squeaking is more pronounced or if it quiets down.
