    Bad oil leak?. Look at picture.

    hey r3v, so i woke up this morning..moved my e30 to the driveway, came back and saw this big motor oil spill.. it wasnt there yesterday.. i changed my oil not even 1000 miles ago , ROYAL PURPLE oil, please let me know what is going on. thank you (attachment below)

    Well according to the lab guy on CSI thats a head gasket valve cover oilr filet drain plug blinker fluid leak. You are screwed!

        I MEANT what could be causing it again......... Because i took it to a shop not to long ago, to have the oil leak fixed. and now it started again....

            Did you make sure the drain plug is tight?

              your car is a hot oily mess

              get some degreaser, clean the whole engine, dry off, and let the engine sit and run with you watching so you can catch it in the act

                looks like your due for a new oil pan gasket..looks pretty crusty.. like suggested, degreaser and pressure wash to clean area up. also check the valve under the oil filter housing. those typically leak and there is a update to that part you can get relatively cheap and easy to install.

                    It's probably because you own an M20. don't worry, one day you'll swap it.

                          i was going to degrease and pressure wash , but i didnt know if that would harm the engine or not. thanks
