    Annoying Rattle

    Sorry for the noob question, but what is this part and why does it rattle when I slam the door?


    (I couldn't find it in my copy of Bentley's but, not even sure what section to look in)

    Cruise control actuator. Tighten it down?

      Thanks, but I guess that means I posted this in the wrong forum area? Sorry.

      Anyway, I checked again and it seems to be mounted securely but the rattle comes from inside the box. That doesn't seem right...

          If you don't use cruise control at all then just remove it.

            What the hell....will it rattle when you shake it? I bet it is something else. that is just too weird.

            And whatever you do, don't delete it. Cruise control works great on these cars.
